Description
A compact 7-inch flush mount ceiling light in brushed nickel with an opal glass shade, ideal for hallways, bedrooms, and small spaces with low ceilings.
Part of the Madison Collection, this low-profile fixture brings a clean, transitional look to any room. The brushed nickel finish resists wear and pairs well with modern and classic interiors, while the round opal glass shade softens the light for a warm, inviting glow. At just over 7 inches wide and under 5 inches high, it fits neatly in areas where clearance is tight.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors needing soft, ambient light without visual bulk
- Bedrooms with low ceilings (under 8 ft) where a pendant or chandelier won't fit
- Bathrooms with adequate ventilation (dry-rated only; avoid direct shower exposure)
- Laundry rooms and utility spaces where a durable, easy-to-clean fixture is needed
- Small entryways and closets that need a subtle light source
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with high humidity or direct shower exposure—this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Large rooms needing bright, primary illumination—600 lumens is accent-level brightness
- Covered outdoor areas—not rated for damp or wet locations
How bright is it?
With a 60W A19 bulb (not included), this fixture outputs about 600 lumens—similar to a standard 60W incandescent. That's ideal for ambient or accent lighting in small to medium rooms, but not enough to serve as the sole light source in a large living area.
Light color and feel
The opal glass shade diffuses light, creating a soft, even glow that flatters skin tones and warm interiors. The actual color temperature depends on the bulb you choose—opt for 2700K-3000K for a cozy, warm feel. The fixture is not dimmable unless you use a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 7.25 inches wide and 4.63 inches high, with a canopy of 6.7 inches. This low-profile design works well in rooms with 7-8 ft ceilings, and the compact size makes it easy to install in tight spots.
