The clear glass shade lets the bulb's natural light shine through. If you use a warm white LED (2700K-3000K), the light will have a soft, golden tone that flatters wood tones and creates a cozy atmosphere. The fixture is not dimmable unless you use a dimmable bulb and compatible dimmer switch.
