Artcraft Waterbury 8in 1-Light Outdoor Lantern Sconce | Transitional Black and Frosted PC | Porch & Entryway | 8 x 8 x 11 in | Model AC9183BK

A wet-rated outdoor wall lantern for porches, entryways, and patios, finished in black aluminum with a frosted white diffuser.

The Waterbury Collection combines a matte black cage frame with a frosted white polycarbonate diffuser, creating a clean transitional look that suits both modern and traditional homes. The integrated 12W LED provides bright, energy-efficient light without visible bulbs. This model is backed by a 25-year corrosion warranty and a 5-year paint defect warranty.

Best for

• Front entryways and porches, flanking a door for welcoming light
• Garages and side entries that need reliable, weather-resistant illumination
• Covered patios and outdoor living areas
• Commercial exteriors such as walkways and building entrances

Not ideal for

• Indoor use - this fixture is designed and rated for wet exterior locations
• Spaces where you want a hanging pendant or chandelier look
• Very large areas needing more than 1000 lumens of light output

How bright is it?

1000 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 75W incandescent bulb. This is bright enough for a porch or entryway, providing clear, welcoming light without being harsh. It works well as a primary light for small to medium outdoor areas.

Light color and feel

3000K warm white - a soft, inviting glow similar to traditional incandescent light. It feels welcoming and flatters natural materials like wood and stone. CRI is 80, which is standard for outdoor lighting. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the brightness to suit the time of day or mood (dimmer switch sold separately).

Sizing and fit

Measures 7.9 inches long x 7.9 inches wide x 11 inches high, with a 7.87-inch extension from the wall. This size works well for standard entryways and porches. It is not adaptable for sloped ceilings.
