Description
A 5-light semi flush mount with cascading clear Tronchi glass and a warm brass frame, sized for bedrooms, hallways, and dining rooms with standard ceilings.
The Sophia collection takes its cue from vintage Italian glasswork: dozens of clear "Tronchi" glass pieces hang in a cascading, icicle-like arrangement that refracts light into a soft, shimmering glow. The brass-finished metal frame keeps the look grounded and traditional, so it reads as classic rather than fussy. It sits close to the ceiling, making it a natural fit where a full chandelier would hang too low.
Best for
- Primary bedrooms and guest rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, centered over the bed
- Hallways and foyers where a low-profile statement piece is needed
- Dining rooms and breakfast nooks that want ambient light without a hanging fixture
- Traditional and transitional interiors with brass or warm wood accents
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry, interior locations only
- Sloped ceilings - this mount is not rated for sloped ceiling installation
- Rooms where you need a single bright downlight - this is an ambient, multi-bulb design
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With five 200W-max candelabra bulbs, it is designed as an ambient fixture for a medium to large room rather than a task light. Actual brightness depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs installed. The clear Tronchi glass refracts and scatters light for a sparkling, layered effect rather than a single bright source. The fixture is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimmer to shift from bright to soft evening light.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 17.75 in L x 17.75 in W x 15.94 in H, with a 5.9 in canopy. It suits rooms roughly 12 x 14 ft and larger with standard 8-9 ft ceilings. The semi flush design keeps the fixture close to the ceiling, so it works where headroom is a concern.
