Description
A 49-inch linear island chandelier with 16 candelabra lights and cascading clear Tronchi glass, made for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Sophia collection turns a linear island light into a cascade of shimmering glass. Each clear Tronchi glass piece is shaped like an icicle and refracts light in every direction, while the brushed brass frame adds a warm, refined contrast. It suits traditional and transitional interiors that want a statement piece without visual heaviness.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6 ft or longer that need a linear focal point
- Dining rooms with long rectangular tables
- Open-concept kitchens where the island is the center of the room
- Traditional or transitional interiors with brass or warm wood accents
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Small kitchens with islands under 5 ft - the 49.5-inch length will overwhelm the space
- Low ceilings under 9 ft if you want the full 96-inch chain drop
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With 16 candelabra-base bulbs at up to 40W each, this fixture can deliver strong ambient light for a large kitchen or dining room. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because bulbs are not included.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you install. The clear Tronchi glass refracts light into a sparkling, icicle-like glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can pair it with a compatible dimmer to shift from bright task lighting to a soft dinner-party glow.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 49.5 in L x 15 in W x 15.6 in H. The fixture hangs from a 96-inch chain with 141.7 inches of wire, and the height range is approximately 15.6 to 124.75 inches. It is sloped-ceiling compatible. For a kitchen island, plan on roughly 30-36 inches of clearance between the bottom of the fixture and the countertop.
