Description
A 17-inch one-light outdoor wall sconce for porches and entryways, finished in black with clear glass.
The Sonesta collection by Artcraft uses a two-part system that gives the sconce an airy, open look. Clear glassware and a slanted roof keep it firmly in transitional territory, so it works with both traditional and updated exteriors. The single-light design keeps the silhouette clean.
Best for
- Front entryways and porches, mounted singly or in pairs beside a door
- Covered patios and outdoor living areas that need warm ambient light
- Side doors and garages where a tall, slim sconce fits the wall
- Transitional exteriors in brick, siding, or stone
Not ideal for
- Wide walls that need a larger, more substantial sconce - the 6-inch width is compact
- Spaces where you want dimmable light - this model is not dimmable
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With one 60W bulb, expect roughly the brightness of a standard 60W incandescent bulb - suitable for ambient entry or porch light, not a primary security floodlight.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose. Warm white bulbs (2700K-3000K) give a soft, welcoming glow that suits brick and wood exteriors. The clear glass shows the bulb, so decorative filament bulbs look especially good here. This model is not dimmable.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 6 in wide x 17.25 in high, with a 5.25 in extension from the wall. The tall, slim profile suits single doors, narrow porch walls, and side entries.
