Description
A 45-inch 6-light island light for kitchen islands and dining rooms, blending a brass frame with wispy white Murano-style glass.
The Skye linear chandelier pairs a brushed brass metal frame with wispy white Murano-style glass panels for a soft, ambient glow. Designed by Kevin Kraemer, its oval silhouette brings a contemporary look to kitchen islands and dining tables. Extra rods are included to hang it at the perfect height.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 5-6 ft long, hung as the main ambient light
- Dining rooms with a rectangular table 5-6 ft long
- Open-concept kitchens and dining areas
- Sloped ceilings - the fixture supports sloped mounting
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 54.3-inch maximum drop
- Small islands under 4 ft - the 45-inch span may overwhelm the space
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It uses six 360W incandescent bulbs (not included), so brightness depends on the bulbs you choose - ideal for ambient lighting over a kitchen island or dining table.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs installed; the wispy white glass diffuses the glow for a warm, even feel. The fixture is dimmable when used with compatible dimmer switches and dimmable bulbs.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 7.01 in L x 45 in W x 7.68 in H, with a height range of 18.3-54.3 in. The 4.49 x 11.89 in canopy fits standard junction boxes. At 15 lbs, it suits kitchen islands and dining tables 5-6 ft long.
