Description
A 1-light semi-flush mount with a floating clear glass sphere and black finish, ideal for bedrooms and hallways.
From the Pinpoint collection by Steven Sabados of S&C, this fixture embraces a 'simple is more' aesthetic. It features a clear glass globe suspended from a black iron frame with textile wiring coverings. The semi-flush design keeps it close to the ceiling, making it a good fit for rooms with standard ceiling heights.
Best for
- Bedrooms with 8-9 ft ceilings where a low-profile light is needed
- Hallways and entryways that need a modern accent
- Dining nooks and small kitchens as a secondary light source
- Foyers with sloped ceilings - it is sloped ceiling adaptable
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or outdoor areas - rated for dry interior locations only
- Large rooms needing a primary light source - this is a 50W accent fixture
- Spaces where a very bright, broad light is required
How bright is it?
Uses one 50W G9 bulb (not included). Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer, but a 50W halogen typically produces around 500-600 lumens - similar to a 40W incandescent. It works well as accent or task lighting, not as a sole light source for a large room.
Light color and feel
With a halogen bulb, expect a warm white light (around 2900-3000K) that flatters wood tones and warm finishes. The clear glass shade allows the bulb to be visible, adding a decorative element. Dimmable with a compatible dimmer (not included).
