Description
A 40-inch, 5-light linear pendant for kitchen islands and dining rooms, finished in satin nickel with ombre white-to-clear glass globes.
The Moonlight linear pendant spreads five ombre glass globes along a slim satin nickel bar - each globe solid white at the top, fading into a moon-textured clear bottom. The elongated shape is built for islands and long tables, where a round pendant would leave the ends of the surface in shadow. It reads contemporary and airy, with the glass providing the visual interest.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 5-6 ft long, hung lengthwise over the counter
- Dining rooms with rectangular tables seating 6 or more
- Open-concept kitchens where a linear shape defines the work zone
- Sloped ceilings - the fixture is sloped-ceiling compatible
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Round or square dining tables, where the linear shape will not align with the table edge
- Rooms where you want a single compact focal point; at 40 in wide this is a long fixture
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With five 40W bulbs, total output is enough to light a kitchen island or dining table as the primary source, with the ombre glass softening the light.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose; the fixture itself is not color-temperature rated. The white-to-clear ombre glass diffuses each bulb for a warm, glowing effect. The fixture is dimmable, so you can lower it for evening dining.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 40 in wide x 6.3 in deep x 6.9 in high, with a 36 in wide oval canopy. Hanging height adjusts from 19 in to 128.5 in using the included 120 in cord. Each glass globe is 6.3 in diameter x 5.9 in high. At 21 lbs, it needs a properly rated ceiling box.
