Description
A 28-inch, 12-light globe pendant for kitchen islands and dining rooms, finished in satin nickel with ombre white-to-clear glass.
The Moonlight 12-light pendant clusters a dozen ombre glass globes - solid white fading into a moon-textured clear bottom - around a satin nickel frame. The effect is a soft, ethereal glow rather than a single hard light source, and the scale makes it a natural focal point over a large island or dining table. It reads contemporary, with the glass doing most of the visual work.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6 ft and longer, hung as the primary statement piece
- Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings and a table seating 6 or more
- Open-concept great rooms where the pendant needs to hold its own against a large footprint
- Sloped ceilings - the fixture is sloped-ceiling compatible
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Small rooms or powder rooms; at 28 in wide it needs space around it
- Ceilings under 8 ft if you want it hung low, since it is rod suspended with a 41-76.5 in height range
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With twelve 40W bulbs, total output is substantial - enough to serve as the main light over a kitchen island or dining table, though the ombre glass softens and diffuses it.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you choose; the fixture itself is not color-temperature rated. The white-to-clear ombre glass diffuses each bulb, so the overall effect is warm and glowing rather than crisp. The fixture is dimmable, so you can dial it down for evening ambience.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 28.1 in diameter x 32.9 in high, with a 4.7 in round canopy. Hanging height adjusts from 41 in to 76.5 in using the included rods (1 x 6 in, 3 x 12 in). Each glass globe is 6.3 in diameter x 5.9 in high. At 21 lbs, it needs a properly rated ceiling box.
