Description
A single-light wall sconce with a clear cylinder glass shade and oil rubbed bronze finish, made for bedrooms, hallways, and stairwells.
The Menlo Park Collection uses a dark chocolate oil rubbed bronze finish with clear cylinder glass for a clean, classic look. This one-light sconce is the smallest piece in the family, so it works where a chandelier or pendant would overwhelm - beside a bed, along a hallway, or flanking a mirror. The open glass shows off Edison-style filament bulbs if you want the retro look.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted as a reading sconce on either side of the bed
- Hallways and stairwells where you want evenly spaced accent light
- Bathroom vanities or powder rooms as a single accent (interior/dry locations only)
- Entryways and mudrooms that need a small warm light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms with shower exposure or covered outdoor areas - rated for interior/dry locations only
- Rooms where you need primary lighting - one 60W bulb is accent-level output
- Wide walls that need a larger two- or three-light sconce to fill the space
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With one 60W medium-base bulb (not included) it produces roughly 800 lumens - about the brightness of a standard 60W incandescent. That makes it an accent or task light, not a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you install. A warm white 2700K-3000K bulb suits the oil rubbed bronze finish and reads cozy beside a bed or in a hallway. The sconce is dimmable, so a compatible dimmer lets you drop it to a low nightlight glow.
Sizing and fit
Overall 5 in L x 5 in W x 10 in H with a 10 x 4.75 in back plate. The 5 in projection keeps it close to the wall, so it works in narrow hallways. Weighs 4 lbs.
