Description
A weathered brass outdoor pendant for covered porches and patios, with clear seeded glass that throws a warm, old-world glow.
The Madrid collection takes its cue from traditional lanterns, pairing a weathered brass finish with clear seeded glass for a look that feels established rather than trendy. The metal frame is built for exterior use and the seeded glass softens the light into a warm, inviting shimmer. It reads as classic on a porch, but the clean silhouette keeps it from feeling fussy.
Best for
- Covered porches and porticos where a hanging lantern anchors the entry
- Covered patios and pergolas with a beam or ceiling rated for a hardwired pendant
- Traditional and transitional exteriors with brass or bronze hardware
- Pairing with the matching Madrid wall sconces for a coordinated entry
Not ideal for
- Exposed, uncovered locations where the fixture would take direct rain and wind
- Low ceilings under about 8 ft, since this hangs 20 in tall plus chain
- Modern or minimalist exteriors that call for a clean, unadorned look
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It takes one 60W incandescent A19 bulb, which is roughly the brightness of a standard porch light - enough to light a doorway or a small seating area, not a whole yard.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose; the manufacturer specifies a 60W incandescent A19. The clear seeded glass diffuses the light into a soft, warm glow rather than a sharp beam. The fixture is dimmable, so a compatible dimmer lets you drop it to a low evening level.
Sizing and fit
Overall 8 in L x 8 in W x 20.38 in H with an 8 in extension and an 8 in diameter shade. The 20 in height plus chain suits porches and patios with ceilings around 9 ft or higher. Weighs 7.7 lbs.
