Artcraft Madrid 23in 1-Light Outdoor Wall Sconce | Traditional Weathered Brass and Clear Seeded Glass | Porch & Patio | Model AC8181WB

A 23-inch tall outdoor wall sconce in weathered brass with clear seeded glass, built for porches, patios, and entryways that need warm, traditional curb appeal.

The Madrid collection brings old-world lantern styling to exterior walls. The weathered brass finish has a lived-in, antique character that pairs naturally with brick, stone, and wood siding, while the clear seeded glass diffuses the bulb into a soft, shimmering glow. It is hardwired, dimmable, and rated for wet locations, so it holds up to rain and coastal air.

Best for

• Front entryways and porches, flanking a door in pairs for symmetry
• Covered patios and pergolas where a traditional lantern silhouette fits the architecture
• Garage side walls and walkway pillars that need a taller, statement sconce
• Homes with brick, stone, or wood exteriors in traditional or colonial styles

Not ideal for

• Modern or minimalist facades - the lantern shape and weathered brass read distinctly traditional
• Low-clearance spots under 24 inches of wall height, since the fixture is 23.38 inches tall
• Anyone wanting a plug-in or battery option - this is hardwired only

How bright is it?

Brightness depends on the bulb you install. It takes one 60W incandescent A19 bulb (or an equivalent LED), which is roughly 800 lumens - enough to light a doorway or accent a wall, but not to flood a large driveway. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because the bulb is not included.

Light color and feel

Color temperature is set by your bulb choice, not the fixture. With a warm white bulb (2700K-3000K) the seeded glass throws a golden, welcoming light that flatters brick and wood. The fixture is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimmer if you want to soften the output at night.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 8.75 in long x 8 in wide x 23.38 in high, with an 8.75 in extension from the wall. That projection suits most exterior walls without crowding a walkway. At just under 2 feet tall, it works best on single-story walls, porch columns, and garage facades with at least 24 inches of clear mounting height.
