Description
An 18-inch 4-light chandelier in brushed brass with clear glass panels, scaled for dining rooms and larger foyers.
The Lucian collection, designed by Kevin Kraemer, gives the classic lantern a modern, open-cage update. This larger 18-inch version is finished in rich plated brushed brass and wrapped in clear glass panels that let the bulbs shine unobstructed. It is a transitional piece that bridges traditional and contemporary interiors.
Best for
- Dining rooms with 8-10 ft ceilings - a balanced centerpiece over a 6-8 seat table
- Foyers and entryways that need a warm, welcoming statement
- Bedrooms and sitting areas where a larger ambient fixture suits the scale
- Sloped ceilings - the included rod hanging system is rated for sloped installation
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Small powder rooms or tight hallways where an 18-inch diameter will overwhelm the space
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 72-inch rod length
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four 40W-equivalent LED bulbs (E26 base, A19 shape), expect roughly 1,800-2,000 lumens total - enough to light a dining table or foyer as an ambient centerpiece, but not a substitute for task lighting in a large room.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by your bulbs. Warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs will enhance the brushed brass finish and create a cozy, golden glow; cooler bulbs (4000K+) will read more modern and crisp. The fixture is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimmer switch to shift from bright task light to soft evening ambiance.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 18 in L x 18 in W x 16 in H. The chandelier hangs from a rod system with 3x12 in and 2x6 in rods included, giving a maximum hanging length of 72 in and a minimum hanging height of 6 in. The 5 in diameter canopy fits standard junction boxes. At 17 lbs, it is light enough for most ceiling installations.
