Description
A 12-inch 4-light chandelier with clear glass panels and black-and-brass accents, sized for dining rooms, foyers, and other intimate spaces.
The Lucian collection, designed by Kevin Kraemer, reimagines the classic lantern as a modern, open-cage chandelier. Black steel framing is warmed by brushed brass accents, while clear glass panels surround the bulbs so the light reads clean and unobstructed. It is a transitional piece that sits comfortably in both traditional and contemporary rooms.
Best for
- Dining rooms and breakfast nooks with 8-9 ft ceilings - a compact statement over a 4-6 seat table
- Foyers and entryways where a small-scale chandelier adds presence without crowding the space
- Bedrooms and sitting areas that need a warm, ambient centerpiece
- Sloped ceilings - the included rod hanging system is rated for sloped installation
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Large rooms or two-story foyers where a 12-inch diameter will look undersized
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 72-inch rod length
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With four 40W-equivalent LED bulbs (E26 base, A19 shape), expect roughly 1,800-2,000 lumens total - enough to light a dining table or foyer as an ambient centerpiece, but not a substitute for task lighting in a large room.
Light color and feel
Light color is determined by your bulbs. Warm white (2700K-3000K) bulbs will flatter the brass accents and create a cozy, golden glow; cooler bulbs (4000K+) will read more modern and crisp. The fixture is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimmer switch to shift from bright task light to soft evening ambiance.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 12 in L x 12 in W x 10.75 in H. The chandelier hangs from a rod system with 3x12 in and 2x6 in rods included, giving a maximum hanging length of 72 in and a minimum hanging height of 6 in. The 5 in diameter canopy fits standard junction boxes. At 10 lbs, it is light enough for most ceiling installations.
