Description
A 14-inch graphite pendant with a ribbed acid opal glass dome, made for kitchen islands and dining areas.
The Kate Pendant combines a plated graphite column with ribbed opal glass for a look that sits between modern and traditional. The opal glass diffuses light evenly, so you get a soft glow rather than a harsh point source. A black cord keeps the silhouette clean and adjusts easily to your ceiling height.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung singly or in a row
- Dining rooms and breakfast bars with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Open kitchens where a graphite finish ties into stainless appliances
- Sloped ceilings - rated for sloped-ceiling installation
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry interior locations only
- Rooms needing broad, even illumination - this is a compact 13.8 in dome
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you want the full 145 in drop
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It takes one 60W A19 bulb - roughly the brightness of a standard 60W incandescent, suited to task and ambient light over an island rather than whole-room lighting.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. The acid opal glass softens whatever bulb you install, so a warm 2700K-3000K bulb gives a gentle, even glow. The fixture is dimmable for lower evening light.
Sizing and fit
