Description
A 14-inch brushed brass pendant with a white ribbed glass dome, made for kitchen islands and dining rooms.
The Kate Pendant pairs a warm brushed brass holder with a white ribbed glass sphere that softens and spreads the light. A textile-covered cord keeps the look tailored while letting you set the height exactly where you want it. This large version anchors a spacious island or dining table; a smaller Kate is also available if you want a matched pair.
Best for
- Kitchen islands 6-8 ft long, hung singly or in a row of two or three
- Dining rooms with 8-9 ft ceilings, centered over the table
- Breakfast nooks and open-concept kitchens where you want a warm focal point
- Sloped ceilings - the fixture is rated for sloped-ceiling installation
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry interior locations only
- Rooms where you need a very wide, flat light - this is a compact 13.8 in dome
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you want the full 145 in drop
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. It takes one 60W A19 bulb, which is roughly the brightness of a standard 60W incandescent - good task and ambient light over an island, not a whole-room light on its own.
Light color and feel
Color temperature depends on the bulb you choose. With a warm 2700K-3000K bulb the white ribbed glass reads soft and golden, flattering wood and brass interiors. The fixture is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimmer for evening mood lighting.
Sizing and fit
Overall 13.8 in L x 13.8 in W x 23.6 in H, with an adjustable height range of 28.3-145 in. The 4.7 in round canopy suits standard junction boxes. At 4 lbs it is light enough for most ceiling structures.
