Description
A two-light wall sconce with a black metal frame and a tall white fabric cylinder shade - an elegant accent for bedrooms and hallways.
The High Street wall sconce, designed by Kevin Kraemer, pairs a slim black metal backplate with a hardback linen shade in soft eggshell white. The tall, narrow silhouette works well flanking a bed, mirror, or artwork, and the fabric shade softens the glow into even, ambient light. It is ADA compliant, so it stays close to the wall.
Best for
- Bedrooms, mounted in pairs beside the bed as reading or accent light
- Hallways and stairwells where a slim, close-to-wall fixture is needed
- Living rooms flanking a fireplace, mirror, or piece of art
- Contemporary and transitional interiors with black or dark accents
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms, covered patios, or any damp or wet location - rated for dry interior use only
- Rooms needing bright task light - this is an accent fixture, not a primary light source
- Spaces where you want a wide wash of light - the narrow shade focuses output
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. With two A19 bulbs, expect roughly 800-900 lumens total - about as bright as a pair of 40W incandescent bulbs, ideal for accent or ambient light, not as a primary room light. Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because bulbs are not included.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulbs you install. The white fabric cylinder shade diffuses light softly and evenly, reducing glare and casting a warm, inviting glow. The fixture is dimmable, so you can pair it with a compatible dimmer switch to set the mood.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 6 in L x 4.02 in W x 17.99 in H. The backplate measures 5.84 in L x 5 in D x 17.91 in H. Item weight is 3.63 lbs. It is ADA compliant and mounts flush to the wall.
