Description
A compact 8-inch flush mount ceiling light for hallways, bedrooms, and closets, finished in brushed aluminum with clear glass.
The Henley flush mount pairs satin aluminum metalwork with a clear glass shade for a clean, modern look that disappears into the ceiling while still adding a polished accent. At just 8 inches wide and 10 inches tall, it is sized for tighter spaces where a pendant or chandelier would feel heavy. The clear glass lets the bulb show through, so a decorative bulb is worth considering.
Best for
- Hallways and entryways where a low-profile ceiling light is needed
- Bedrooms and closets that need general ambient light without a hanging fixture
- Laundry rooms, pantries, and utility spaces with standard 8-9 ft ceilings
- Pairing in multiples down a long hallway for even light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for interior/dry locations only
- Rooms where you want the light itself to be the focal point - this is a subtle, low-profile design
- Very large rooms as the sole light source - one 60W bulb covers a small area
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you install. It takes one 60W medium-base E26 bulb (not included), which is roughly 800 lumens with a standard incandescent - enough for a hallway or small bedroom, not a large living room.
Light color and feel
Color temperature is set by your bulb choice. A 2700K-3000K warm white bulb gives a soft, welcoming glow for hallways and bedrooms; a 4000K bulb reads crisper for utility spaces. The fixture is dimmable, so pair it with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulb if you want to adjust the level.
Sizing and fit
Measures 8 in L x 8 in W x 10.25 in H and weighs 4 lbs. The 10-inch height works with standard 8-9 ft ceilings. Mounts flush to the ceiling, so it will not interfere with doors or tall furniture.
