Description
A 1-light wall sconce with a clear glass globe and black-and-brushed-brass framing, sized for bedrooms, hallways, and powder rooms.
The Gem collection pairs a black metal frame with brushed brass accents and a clear glass globe shade. The glass glows softly when lit, giving the sconce a timeless, contemporary feel that works with both modern and transitional interiors. It mounts vertically and is hardwired for a clean, built-in look.
Best for
- Bedrooms - mounted beside the bed as a reading or accent light
- Hallways and stairwells - spaced every 8-10 ft for even ambient light
- Powder rooms and bathrooms - as a decorative accent above a vanity or mirror
- Entryways - flanking a console or front door for a welcoming glow
Not ideal for
- Damp or wet locations - rated for dry locations only
- Large rooms needing primary illumination - at 40W max per bulb it is an accent light, not a main light source
- Outdoor or covered patio use - not rated for exterior installation
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer. With a single 40W incandescent or LED bulb, expect accent-level brightness - roughly comparable to a 40W incandescent bulb. It is ideal for ambient or decorative lighting, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose. The clear glass globe lets the bulb's color show through, so a warm white bulb (2700K-3000K) will create a soft, golden glow, while a cooler bulb will feel crisper and more modern. The fixture is dimmable, so you can adjust the mood with a compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 5.9 in L x 7.9 in W x 12 in H with a 5.9 in extension from the wall. The round backplate measures 4.75 in W x 4.75 in H x 0.98 in deep. At 12 in tall, it suits most wall spaces above a nightstand, beside a mirror, or along a hallway. Partial assembly is required.
