Artcraft Freemont 11in 2-Light Outdoor Pocket Sconce | Contemporary Black Cast Aluminum and Clear Glass | Entryway & Patio | Model AC8291BK

An 11-inch outdoor pocket sconce in black cast aluminum with clear three-side glass, sized for entryways, porches, and patio walls.

The Freemont Collection pocket sconce uses clean lines and a clear glass enclosure to keep the look contemporary without feeling heavy. The cast aluminum body is finished in black and rated for wet locations, so it stands up to rain, snow, and coastal air. Two candelabra bulbs give it a slightly more decorative, layered glow than a single-bulb sconce.

Best for

• Front entryways and porch columns where a compact, modern welcome light is needed
• Garages and side doors - two bulbs give extra visibility for safety
• Covered patios and outdoor living walls with a contemporary or transitional facade
• Coastal homes - the cast aluminum body and wet-location rating suit salt air and rain

Not ideal for

• Indoor use - this fixture is rated for exterior/wet locations and is sized for outdoor walls
• Large facades where an 11-inch sconce would look undersized next to a wide door
• Anyone wanting a fully enclosed, bug-proof lantern - the three-side glass is open at the bottom

How bright is it?

Brightness depends on the bulbs you install. It takes two 60W candelabra-base bulbs (not included), which is roughly 1600 lumens combined with standard incandescents - enough to clearly light a doorway or walkway. Swap in LED equivalents for the same light with lower energy use.

Light color and feel

Color temperature is set by the bulbs, not the fixture. A 2700K-3000K bulb gives a warm, welcoming glow for entries; a 4000K bulb reads crisper and more security-oriented. The fixture is dimmable when paired with a compatible dimmer and dimmable bulbs.

Sizing and fit

Overall dimensions are 4 in W x 6 in D x 11 in H. At 11 inches tall it suits standard 8-9 ft entry walls and single-door facades. Mount at eye level or slightly above the door, roughly 66-72 inches from the ground.
