Description
A 6-inch semi flush mount with a glowing opal white glass globe and semi matte black metal - a clean, contemporary ceiling light for hallways, bedrooms, and entryways.
The Comet semi flush mount keeps things simple and striking: a single opal glass sphere perched on a slim semi matte black canopy. It sits close to the ceiling, so it works in rooms where a pendant would hang too low. The included G9 LED bulb delivers warm, efficient light the moment you flip the switch.
Best for
- Hallways and corridors where a low-profile ceiling light is needed
- Bedrooms as a soft, ambient ceiling light
- Entryways and foyers with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Contemporary and modern interiors with black or mixed-metal accents
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms where you need a large, high-output ceiling light - this is a 420-lumen accent fixture
- Sloped ceilings are supported, but the compact 6-inch size may look undersized in very large rooms
How bright is it?
420 lumens - about as bright as a 40W incandescent bulb. Ideal for ambient or accent light in small to medium rooms, not as a primary light for a large living space.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white - a soft, golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. CRI 80 renders colors accurately for everyday use. Dimmable with a compatible dimmer (not included).
Sizing and fit
Overall dimensions are 6 in wide x 6 in deep x 9.8 in high. The glass shade is 5.9 in wide, and the canopy is 4.7 in diameter x 0.9 in high. At 1.1 lbs, it is lightweight and easy to install. Works well in hallways, bedrooms, and entryways with ceilings 8 ft and taller.
