Description
A single bell-glass pendant in black and nickel, designed by Kevin Kraemer for kitchen islands, dining nooks, and breakfast bars.
The Cheshire Collection is built around fine detail: the black frame curves to echo the shape of the clear glass shade, and the candle cover and knobs carry a knurled texture you notice up close. Nickel accents cool the black metal for a crisp, modern look that pairs well with stainless appliances and gray cabinetry.
Best for
- Kitchen islands and peninsulas - hang one alone or line up two or three in a row
- Dining nooks and breakfast bars with 8-9 ft ceilings
- Bedrooms and reading corners where a single focused pendant replaces a table lamp
- Entryways and hallways that need one decorative point of light
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms, covered patios, or other damp or wet locations - this pendant is not rated for them
- Anyone who needs dimming - this model is not dimmable
- Sloped or vaulted ceilings that require a swivel canopy - check your ceiling type before ordering
How bright is it?
Lumen output is not specified by the manufacturer because the bulb is not included. With one 60W-equivalent LED bulb installed, expect roughly 800 lumens - task-level light for an island or nook, not a whole-room light on its own.
Light color and feel
Color temperature comes from the bulb you choose, not the fixture. A warm white (2700K-3000K) bulb behind the clear glass keeps the nickel looking soft; a cooler bulb reads more modern. The fixture is not dimmable, so pick a bulb with the brightness you want.
Sizing and fit
The pendant measures 12 in L x 8.25 in W x 12.25 in H, with an 8.25 in glass shade and a 4.75 in canopy. It hangs on rods (three 12 in plus one 6 in) with a minimum hanging height of 23.1 in and a maximum of 59.75 in, so it suits standard 8-9 ft ceilings. Item weight is 5.3 lbs.
