Description
A 16-inch round LED semi-flush mount ceiling light for bedrooms, hallways, and other low-ceiling spaces where you want modern style without a hanging fixture.
The Ara collection is built around a spring-inspired design that reads as sculpture from below. The semi-gloss black aluminum body keeps a low 4-inch profile, so it sits close to the ceiling while still delivering a wide, even wash of downlight. Integrated LED means no bulbs to swap and a clean, uninterrupted look.
Best for
- Bedrooms 10x12 ft and larger, mounted centered over the bed for soft ambient light
- Hallways and foyers where a low-profile ceiling light is needed
- Home offices and dens that need bright, even light without glare
- Modern and minimalist interiors with black or dark metal accents
Not ideal for
- Bathrooms or covered outdoor areas - rated for dry locations only
- Rooms where you want a statement chandelier or a hanging focal point
- Very large open rooms over 200 sq ft if this is your only light source
How bright is it?
2750 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 150W incandescent bulb. That is bright enough to serve as the primary light in a bedroom or hallway, but not so intense that it feels harsh in a small room.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white - a soft, slightly golden tone similar to traditional incandescent. CRI 80 renders colors accurately for everyday living. Dimmable with an appropriate LED-rated dimmer switch, so you can take it from bright task light down to a warm evening glow.
Sizing and fit
16 in diameter x 4 in high. The low profile works well with 8 ft ceilings and up. Canopy is 5.9 in x 5.9 in. Sloped ceiling adaptable. Weighs 5.06 lbs.
