Description
A 7-inch single-light wall sconce from the Alora Mood Plisse collection, designed for bathroom vanities, powder rooms, and hallways where vintage-inspired ambiance is desired.
Straight off the Parisian runway comes the unique Plissé collection. With pleats of stunning metal or glass, this collection adds chic ambiance wherever it goes. This sconce features a matte black finish with opal matte glass, capturing the essence of vintage class. The pleated glass shade diffuses light beautifully, creating a warm and inviting glow.
Best for
- Bathroom vanities 24-36 in wide, mounted as a pair flanking the mirror at 60-66 in above the floor
- Powder rooms and half baths, mounted as a single accent above a small mirror
- Hallways and entryways, used as decorative accent lighting
- Bedrooms, mounted as reading sconces beside the bed
- Damp-rated for bathroom use, including above a sink or vanity
Not ideal for
- Outdoor uncovered areas - damp-rated but not wet-rated for direct rain exposure
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting - uses a single 60W bulb (bulb not included), suitable for accent/ambient
- Very large bathrooms over 8x10 ft as the sole light source - consider multiple sconces or a ceiling fixture
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used (not included). With a standard 60W incandescent equivalent LED bulb, expect 800-900 lumens - about as bright as a 60W incandescent, ideal for accent or ambient light in small to medium spaces.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb chosen. For a warm, inviting glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The opal matte glass diffuser softens the light, reducing glare and creating a pleasant ambiance.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 8 in deep, 7 in wide, and 18 in high, with a 7.88 in extension from the wall. Canopy is round, 5.12 in diameter with 0.88 in extension. Mounts up-only on the wall. Damp-rated for bathroom use.
