Description
A 1-light wall sconce from Alora Mood's Hazel collection, inspired by vintage apothecary bottles, finished in aged gold with opal matte glass for bathrooms and powder rooms.
The Hazel sconce features a flowing, curvy opal matte glass shade with dainty aged gold metal accents, evoking early-1900s apothecary charm. The up/down wall mounting style allows flexible light direction, and the damp-rated construction makes it suitable for bathroom vanity areas.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 in vanity, mounted as a pair flanking the mirror
- Powder rooms where a single sconce adds a vintage accent
- Hallways or entryways with damp-rated requirements
- Spaces needing a warm, decorative light source with up/down orientation
Not ideal for
- Primary room lighting - this is an accent fixture, not a main light source
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting - max 60W incandescent equivalent
- Outdoor uncovered areas - damp-rated but not wet-rated
How bright is it?
Uses one 60W E26 bulb (not included). With a standard 60W incandescent, output is approximately 800 lumens - suitable for accent or ambient lighting around a vanity, not as a primary room light.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb you choose. For a warm, flattering glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED or incandescent bulb. The opal matte glass diffuses light softly, reducing glare.
