Description
A 1-light wall sconce from the Emil collection, finished in white and white oak with clear glass, designed for bathroom vanities and hallways.
The Emil sconce brings organic style with white oak wood accents and luxe metallic detailing. The clear glass shade allows the bulb to be visible, creating a warm glow. Rated for damp locations, it's suitable for bathrooms. The up/down mounting style provides versatile light direction.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 in vanity, mounted 60-66 in above the floor on each side of the mirror
- Hallways and entryways, mounted at eye level for accent lighting
- Powder rooms as a single sconce above a small mirror
- Bedrooms as bedside reading lights, mounted 30 in above the nightstand
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas without cover - damp rated but not wet rated
- Spaces with ceilings under 7 ft due to the 14.88 in height
- Large bathrooms over 8x10 ft as the sole light source - 60W max bulb provides accent-level brightness
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb used (max 60W incandescent or equivalent LED). A 60W incandescent produces about 800 lumens, suitable for task lighting at a vanity.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on the bulb chosen. For a warm glow, use a 2700K-3000K LED bulb. The clear glass shade provides unobstructed light.
