Description
A 6-inch, 1-light wall vanity with mid-century charm, finished in matte black with opal glass, perfect for bathrooms and powder rooms.
The Betty collection by Alora Mood blends fifties-inspired shade shapes with modern touches. The opal matte glass diffuses light softly, creating a warm and inviting glow. This vanity light can be mounted up or down, offering flexibility in placement. Ideal for adding vintage flair to any space.
Best for
- Bathrooms with a 24-36 in vanity, mounted above the mirror at 75-80 in from the floor
- Powder rooms as a single accent light above a small mirror
- Hallways as a decorative sconce
- Damp locations like bathrooms with proper ventilation
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas - rated for damp locations only, not wet locations
- Spaces requiring bright task lighting - this is an accent/ambient fixture
- Large bathrooms over 50 sq ft as the sole light source
How bright is it?
Brightness depends on the bulb you choose (not included). The fixture accepts one standard E26 bulb up to 60W. For a warm ambient glow, use a 40W-equivalent LED bulb (about 450 lumens). For more light, use a 60W-equivalent LED bulb (about 800 lumens).
Light color and feel
You control the color temperature by choosing your bulb. For a warm, flattering light in bathrooms, select 2700K-3000K bulbs. The opal glass diffuser softens the light, reducing glare and creating a gentle, even illumination.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 6.38 inches wide and 13.25 inches high, with an 8-inch extension from the wall. The canopy is 4.75 inches in diameter. It can be mounted with the glass shade pointing up or down. Rated for damp locations.
