Inspired by the flowering plant of the same name – as featured in the painting by Mary Vaux Walcott, found in the collections of the Smithsonian American Art Museum– Jacob’s Ladder by Varaluz rises to meet even the most discerning design tastes. An identifying feature of this plant is its foliage, with its densely packed leaf stems that bear small, fern-like leaflets, that rise along the stem. The Jacob’s Ladder collection similarly features a stunning handwoven, alternating, natural, sustainable rattan and abaca rope layering. In a dark room, the backlighting on the rope has a starry night, twinkle effect. Hand crafted from 70% recycled steel. Low-VOC French Gold finish.

Truck Freight Delivery. This item is too large or heavy to ship via standard UPS or FedEx ground. As a result, it will be shipped via Truck Freight. Once your shipment is within your local area, you will be contacted by the Truck Freight carrier to schedule a delivery appointment. This is usually a 2-4 hour window during business hours, but will be determined based on your availability. You will be responsible for taking it off of the back of the truck, so please be prepared to move the unit to its final destination. Most truck freight carriers offer upgraded services for inside delivery. This is not something that we offer at this time and you will need to arrange that directly with the truck freight carrier when they schedule your appointment.
