Description
An 84-inch smart ceiling fan without a light kit, designed for large covered outdoor and indoor spaces, finished in brushed satin brass with weathered wood composite blades.
The TriAire Custom from Fanimation combines a powerful, quiet DC motor with a sleek three-blade design. The brushed satin brass finish and weathered wood blades create a warm, natural look that complements coastal and farmhouse styles. With Wi-Fi fanSync, you can control the fan with your voice or smartphone, and the included handheld remote offers convenient manual control. This Energy Star certified fan is damp-rated, making it a versatile choice for covered patios, porches, sunrooms, and large living areas.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Large living rooms and great rooms (over 18 x 20 ft) needing high airflow
- Sunrooms and enclosed porches with high ceilings
- Bedrooms and home offices where quiet, energy-efficient cooling is desired
- Smart home setups with voice assistants like Alexa or Google Home
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed directly to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings lower than 8 ft without a flush mount option (downrod included)
- Small spaces under 10 x 10 ft where an 84-inch sweep would be overpowering
- Spaces that require an integrated light kit - this model is fan-only
Style and finish
The brushed satin brass motor housing and weathered wood blades give this fan a rustic yet refined appearance. The weathered wood finish mimics aged timber, adding warmth and texture to any space. This fan pairs well with neutral palettes, natural materials, and transitional or farmhouse decor.
Materials and care
The blades are made of composite material, which resists warping and moisture. The motor housing is finished in brushed satin brass, a durable coating that resists tarnishing. To clean, wipe with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid using harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners. Care instructions not specified by manufacturer.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 84 inches in blade sweep and 16.42 inches from ceiling to bottom. It includes an 8-inch downrod and is compatible with sloped ceilings up to 27 degrees. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the optimal 7-9 ft hanging height for maximum airflow.
