Description
A downrod-mounted 84-inch smart ceiling fan for covered patios, sunrooms, and large indoor spaces, finished in matte white with koa blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom brings a streamlined, modern look to spaces that need serious airflow. Its 84-inch blade sweep and 6-speed DC motor move up to 10,688 CFM, making it a powerful choice for great rooms, covered porches, and open-plan living areas. The matte white motor housing pairs with three koa wood blades for a warm, natural contrast. Wi-Fi enabled fanSync technology lets you control the fan from your smartphone, voice assistant, or the included TR360 remote, which also manages six speeds, reversing, and optional light dimming. Damp rated for indoor and covered outdoor use, this fan is built to handle humidity without direct rain exposure.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction stands up to humidity
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing powerful, quiet airflow
- Large living rooms and great rooms with ceilings 8 ft or higher
- Spaces with sloped ceilings up to 20 degrees, using the included downrods
- Smart-home setups, with control via the fanSync app or voice assistants
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed directly to rain or water - this fan is damp rated, not wet rated
- Small rooms under 12 x 12 ft, where an 84-inch sweep is oversized
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you prefer a flush mount for extra clearance
How bright is it?
This fan is compatible with an optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that delivers 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb, suitable for ambient lighting in medium to large rooms. Without the light kit, the fan provides no illumination.
Light color and feel
When paired with the optional CCT Select light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures - 2700K warm white, 3000K soft white, 3500K neutral, 4000K cool white, or 5000K daylight - to match the mood of your space. The kit also offers a 90 CRI for accurate color rendering, and the remote provides infinite dimming.
Sizing and fit
With an 84-inch blade sweep and downrod mounting, this fan hangs 19.69 inches from the ceiling with the included 6-inch downrod (or 25.69 inches with the 12-inch downrod). The overall dimensions are 84 x 84 x 19.69 inches, and it weighs 19.98 pounds. It's designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 20 degrees.
