Description
An 84-inch downrod smart ceiling fan with antique graphite finish and Light Oak blades, designed for large covered outdoor and indoor spaces, with optional integrated LED light kit.
The Spitfire DC Custom combines a sleek, modern silhouette with powerful performance. The antique graphite motor housing is paired with three Light Oak blades, crafted from buttonwood, for a clean, airy look that complements coastal and contemporary interiors. This fan is compatible with an integrated 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) featuring CCT Select technology, so you can add customizable lighting when you need it. With Wi-Fi enabled fanSync technology and a handheld remote, you get full control over fan speed and light settings from anywhere.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where damp-rated fixtures are required
- Great rooms, open-plan living areas, and large bedrooms with ceilings at least 9 ft high
- Rooms with standard or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 20 degrees) - downrods included
- Smart-home setups - control via the fanSync app, voice assistants, or the included remote
- Year-round comfort with a reversible DC motor for summer and winter airflow
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 12 x 12 ft where an 84-inch sweep would overpower the space
- Low ceilings under 8 ft - the downrod adds height, so a flush mount may be better
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. If you add the optional integrated 18-watt LED light kit, it produces 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb - sufficient for ambient lighting in a large room.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures - 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). With a CRI of 90, colors appear vibrant and true-to-life. The light is dimmable via the included remote.
Sizing and fit
This fan has an 84-inch blade sweep and measures 84 x 84 x 19.69 inches with the included 6-inch downrod. It includes both 6-inch and 12-inch downrods, and optional downrods up to 72 inches are available to achieve the recommended hanging height of 7 to 9 feet. The canopy is 8.76 inches in diameter and 2.52 inches high, and the housing is 8.07 inches in diameter.
