Description
An 84-inch smart ceiling fan with powerful airflow, designed for large indoor and covered outdoor spaces, with optional light kit compatibility.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a sleek Black motor with Black Buttonwood blades, delivering powerful yet quiet airflow up to 10,688 CFM. This version is compatible with an integrated 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that offers five color temperatures. Control it all with the included TR360 remote or your smart device via Wi-Fi fanSync technology.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and moisture-resistant blades handle humidity without direct rain exposure
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas over 400 sq ft, where the 84-inch sweep moves air effectively
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms that need both airflow and adjustable lighting
- Rooms with sloped ceilings up to 20 degrees, thanks to the included downrods
- Smart-home setups, with voice control via Alexa or Google Assistant through fanSync
Not ideal for
- Spaces with ceilings under 8 ft if you need a flush mount - this fan requires downrod installation
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water spray - this is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 150 sq ft where an 84-inch fan would be overpowering
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. If you add the compatible 18-watt LED light kit, it produces 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb, suitable for ambient lighting.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures (2700K-5000K) with a 90 CRI for accurate color rendering. The light is dimmable via the remote or app.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 84 inches in diameter and hangs 13.69 or 19.69 inches from the ceiling depending on the downrod (6 or 12 inches included). It's designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 20 degrees) and fits rooms with standard 8-foot ceilings. The 84-inch blade sweep is best for very large spaces (over 400 sq ft).
