Description
An 84-inch smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire DC Custom collection, finished in black with natural buttonwood blades, designed for large covered outdoor and indoor spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a sleek black motor with three natural buttonwood blades, delivering powerful yet quiet airflow up to 10,688 CFM from its 6-speed DC motor. This downrod version includes both 6-inch and 12-inch downrods for flexible installation. It is compatible with an integrated 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) featuring CCT Select technology for five color temperatures. The included TR360 handheld remote and Wi-Fi fanSync connectivity put full control at your fingertips.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Large living rooms and great rooms (over 18 x 20 ft) needing high-volume air movement
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms, with the natural wood blades adding warmth
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms where moisture resistance is a priority
- Smart-home setups, with control via the fanSync app, voice assistants, or the included remote
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 12 x 12 ft, where the 84-inch sweep may be overpowering
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet, as the downrod adds height (overall height is 19.69 inches)
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. It is compatible with an optional integrated 18-watt LED light kit that delivers 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb - providing ample illumination for most living spaces.
