Description
A downrod smart ceiling fan with no light kit, designed for covered outdoor and indoor spaces, compatible with an optional LED light kit.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a Matte White motor with three Dark Walnut Buttonwood blades, delivering powerful airflow up to 10,688 CFM from its quiet 6-speed DC motor. This version is compatible with an integrated 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) featuring CCT Select technology. Control the fan with the included TR360 remote or via Wi-Fi with the fanSync app and voice assistants. Damp rated for covered outdoor use, this fan offers flexible installation with included 6-inch and 12-inch downrods.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction handles humidity without direct rain exposure
- Large living rooms and great rooms (15x20 ft or larger) needing high airflow up to 10,688 CFM
- Rooms with standard or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 20°), thanks to included downrods
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms where you can add a light kit later if needed
- Smart home setups, with Wi-Fi control via fanSync app and voice assistants
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water—this fan is damp rated, not wet rated
- Rooms with low ceilings (under 8 ft) unless you use a shorter downrod or flush mount (not included)
- Spaces that need a light included—this model requires a separate light kit purchase
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional LED light kit you add. The compatible 18-watt kit produces 1600 lumens, comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures (2700K to 5000K) via CCT Select, allowing you to customize the light from warm to cool. The high CRI of 90 ensures accurate color rendering.
Sizing and fit
This 84-inch fan is ideal for large rooms. With the included 6-inch downrod, the overall height is 13.69 inches; with the 12-inch downrod, it's 19.69 inches. The canopy is 8.76 inches in diameter, and the housing is 8.07 inches. It fits flat or sloped ceilings up to 20°.
