Description
An 84-inch downrod smart ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit and marine-grade double-walled glass shade, designed for large indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a sleek black motor with whiskey wood blades, delivering powerful airflow up to 10,688 CFM from its quiet 6-speed DC motor. The integrated 24-watt LED light kit offers five color temperatures, from warm to daylight, and the included remote and Wi-Fi connectivity make control effortless. Damp rated for covered outdoor use, this fan brings smart comfort to patios, porches, and great rooms.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, providing a cooling breeze without direct rain exposure
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas with ceilings of 9 feet or higher
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms where humidity is a concern
- Bedrooms and home offices needing quiet, energy-efficient airflow
- Rooms with sloped ceilings up to 20 degrees, using the included downrods
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp rated, not wet rated
- Small rooms under 12x12 feet where an 84-inch sweep is oversized
- Low ceilings under 8 feet, as the downrod adds height
How bright is it?
The integrated LED module produces 2000 lumens - comparable to a 150W incandescent bulb, bright enough to illuminate a large living area or covered patio. It works well as a primary light source for most rooms.
Light color and feel
Choose from five color temperatures: 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate. The light is dimmable via the included remote or app.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 84 inches in diameter and hangs 16 inches from the ceiling with the included 6-inch downrod. It is designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 20 degrees) and works best in rooms with 9-foot or higher ceilings.
