Description
A smart 84-inch indoor/outdoor ceiling fan with an integrated LED light kit, designed for large covered patios and spacious living areas.
The Spitfire DC Custom from Fanimation pairs a sleek Antique Graphite motor with three Natural buttonwood blades, delivering powerful yet quiet airflow up to 10,688 CFM. This version includes a double-walled marine-grade light kit with a clear glass shade, built to withstand coastal moisture. With Wi-Fi fanSync, you can control the fan and light from your smartphone or voice assistant, and the included TR360 remote puts six speeds, reversing, and dimming at your fingertips.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where damp-rated fixtures are needed
- Large living rooms and great rooms with ceilings at least 9 feet high
- Bedrooms and home offices that benefit from quiet, energy-efficient airflow
- Coastal homes where marine-grade materials resist humidity and salt air
- Spaces that need flexible lighting from warm to daylight with CCT Select
Not ideal for
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 feet unless using the flush-mount option
- Directly exposed outdoor areas without a roof or cover
- Small rooms under 12x12 feet where an 84-inch sweep is oversized
How bright is it?
This light kit delivers 2000 lumens, roughly equivalent to a 150W incandescent bulb. It's bright enough to illuminate a large living area or patio, but it's designed as ambient lighting rather than task lighting.
Light color and feel
With CCT Select, you can choose from 2700K (warm white) to 5000K (daylight). At 2700K, the light feels cozy and flattering; at 5000K, it's crisp and energizing. The 90 CRI ensures colors appear vivid and accurate, ideal for art or entertaining spaces.
Sizing and fit
The fan measures 84 inches in diameter and hangs 16 to 22 inches from the ceiling with the included 6-inch and 12-inch downrods. It's designed for flat or sloped ceilings up to 20 degrees, and the recommended hanging height is 7 to 9 feet for optimal airflow.
