Description
A 72-inch flush-mount smart ceiling fan for large covered outdoor and indoor spaces, finished in matte white with Koa wood blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a sleek matte white motor housing with three Koa wood blades for a warm, modern look that suits contemporary and transitional homes. Its 6-speed DC motor delivers powerful yet quiet airflow up to 9,639 CFM, and the included TR360 remote plus Wi-Fi fanSync connectivity put full control at your fingertips. Damp rated for covered outdoor use, this fan is built to handle humidity without direct rain exposure.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where a flush mount keeps headroom clear
- Large living rooms and great rooms up to 20x20 ft needing high-volume air movement
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity (damp rated)
- Low ceilings (under 8 ft) where a downrod would be too long
- Smart-home setups wanting voice or app control via fanSync
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed directly to rain or water spray (damp rated, not wet rated)
- Small rooms under 100 sq ft where a 72-inch sweep is oversized
- Rooms with ceilings over 10 ft if you prefer a downrod mount for better airflow
How bright is it?
This fan is compatible with an optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that delivers 1600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100W incandescent bulb, bright enough for ambient lighting in a large room. The light kit is not included with this model.
Light color and feel
When paired with the optional CCT Select light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures - 2700K (warm white) to 5000K (daylight) - to match your mood and decor. The kit also offers a high CRI of 90, rendering colors accurately for art or task areas. The light is dimmable via the remote.
Sizing and fit
With a 72-inch blade sweep and a low-profile flush mount, this fan sits just 9.65 inches from the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with 8-foot ceilings. The overall dimensions are 72 inches wide by 72 inches deep by 9.65 inches high, and it weighs 21.06 lbs.
