Fanimation Spitfire DC Custom 72in Flush Ceiling Fan | Matte Black and Black Buttonwood Blades | Covered Patio & Living | Model FPD6721BBL-72BL-F

A 72-inch flush-mount smart ceiling fan for covered outdoor and large indoor spaces, finished in matte black with black blades.

The Spitfire DC Custom combines a sleek, low-profile design with powerful, quiet airflow. Its 6-speed DC motor delivers up to 9,639 CFM, making it a strong choice for great rooms, covered patios, and sunrooms. The included TR360 remote and Wi-Fi fanSync app give you full control over speed, direction, and optional lighting.

Best for

• Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction handles humidity
• Great rooms and open-plan living areas needing high airflow
• Sunrooms and three-season rooms with low ceilings
• Bedrooms and home offices where quiet operation matters
• Spaces with 8-foot ceilings, thanks to the flush mount

Not ideal for

• Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water
• Rooms smaller than 12x12 ft, where a 72-inch sweep may be overpowering
• Sloped ceilings, as this flush-mount model is designed for flat ceilings

How bright is it?

This fan is compatible with an optional 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately) that produces 1,600 lumens - roughly equivalent to a 100-watt incandescent bulb, bright enough for ambient lighting in most rooms.

Light color and feel

With the optional light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures - 2700K warm white to 5000K daylight - so you can shift from cozy evenings to bright, energizing light. The high CRI of 90 ensures colors appear natural and accurate.

Sizing and fit

The fan measures 72 inches in diameter and hangs just 9.65 inches from the ceiling, making it ideal for rooms with low ceilings. It mounts flush to a flat ceiling using the included bracket.
