Description
A 72-inch smart ceiling fan with downrod mounting, designed for large indoor and covered outdoor spaces, with a light kit available separately.
The Spitfire DC Custom features a Matte White motor and three White Washed blades for a clean, coastal-inspired look. Its 6-speed DC motor delivers up to 9,639 CFM of airflow quietly and efficiently. Control the fan with the included remote or via Wi-Fi with the fanSync app.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction handles humidity
- Great rooms and open-plan living areas needing high airflow
- Bedrooms and living rooms with standard 8-9 ft ceilings, using the included downrods
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms where a light kit can be added later
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water - this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with ceilings under 8 ft, as the downrod adds height
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. If you add the compatible 18-watt LED kit, it provides 1600 lumens - comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb - with five color temperatures.
Light color and feel
When a light kit is added, you can choose from 2700K (warm white) to 5000K (daylight) with a CRI of 90 for accurate color rendering. The light is dimmable via the included remote.
Sizing and fit
This downrod fan measures 72 inches in diameter and hangs 19.69 inches from the ceiling with the included 12-inch downrod. It suits rooms of 15x15 ft or larger. Optional downrods up to 72 inches allow for higher ceilings.
