Description
A 72-inch downrod ceiling fan with a Matte White motor and Natural blades, designed for indoor and covered outdoor spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom delivers powerful, quiet airflow up to 9,639 CFM from its 6-speed DC motor. The Natural buttonwood blades add a warm, organic touch, while the Matte White finish keeps it sleek. This fan is compatible with an optional LED light kit (sold separately) and includes a TR360 remote for full control, plus Wi-Fi fanSync for smart home integration.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated motor and blades handle humidity without direct rain
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing high airflow and optional lighting
- Large living areas and great rooms up to 20x20 ft, providing powerful air movement
- Bedrooms and home offices where quiet operation and smart control are valued
- Rooms with standard or slightly sloped ceilings, thanks to included 6-inch and 12-inch downrods
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water—this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Small rooms under 10x10 ft, where the 72-inch sweep may feel overpowering
- Low ceilings under 8 feet, as the downrod adds height
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, but it is compatible with Fanimation's integrated 18-watt LED light kit (sold separately), which outputs 1600 lumens—comparable to a 100-watt incandescent bulb—and is dimmable.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional light kit, you'll get CCT Select technology with five color temperatures (2700K to 5000K), allowing you to shift from warm white to daylight. The high CRI of 90 ensures accurate color rendering.
Sizing and fit
This fan measures 72 inches in diameter and hangs 19.69 inches from the ceiling with the included 12-inch downrod. The included 6-inch downrod offers a lower profile. It's designed for flat or slightly sloped ceilings (up to 20°).
