Description
A 64-inch flush-mount smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire DC Custom collection, finished in matte white with matching matte white blades, for covered outdoor and indoor spaces.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a streamlined matte white motor housing with three matte white buttonwood blades for a clean, contemporary look that suits modern and transitional interiors. Its 6-speed DC motor delivers powerful yet quiet airflow up to 8,754 CFM, and the included TR360 handheld remote plus Wi-Fi fanSync connectivity put full control at your fingertips. Damp rated for covered outdoor use, this flush-mount version is ideal for low ceilings.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches where a low-profile flush mount keeps headroom clear
- Sunrooms and three-season rooms needing high airflow and smart control
- Bedrooms and living areas with 8-ft ceilings, mounted flush to avoid a hanging downrod
- Bathrooms and laundry rooms with high humidity, thanks to its damp rating
- Smart-home setups, controllable via the fanSync app or voice assistants
Not ideal for
- Spaces where you want a light kit included - this version is compatible but the light kit is sold separately
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as it is damp rated, not wet rated
- Rooms larger than 400 sq ft if you need the fan to be the sole air mover - consider a larger fan or multiple units
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional integrated 18-watt LED module (sold separately), which outputs 1600 lumens - comparable to a 100W incandescent bulb. Without the light kit, it provides no illumination.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional LED light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures - 2700K (warm white), 3000K, 3500K, 4000K, and 5000K (daylight) - to shift the ambiance from cozy to crisp. The kit is dimmable and has a CRI of 90 for accurate color rendering.
Sizing and fit
With a 64-inch blade sweep and a height of only 9.65 inches from the ceiling, this flush-mount fan fits rooms with low ceilings. The housing diameter is 8.07 inches, and the canopy is 7.85 inches in diameter. Ideal for rooms at least 12 x 12 ft, it moves air effectively up to about 400 sq ft.
