Fanimation Spitfire 96in Downrod Ceiling Fan | Black and Dark Walnut Buttonwood Blades | Covered Patio & Living Room | Model FPD6721BBL-96DWA

A 96-inch downrod smart ceiling fan with Dark Walnut blades, designed for large indoor and covered outdoor spaces.

The Spitfire DC Custom from Fanimation pairs a sleek Black motor with three Dark Walnut Buttonwood blades, delivering powerful yet quiet airflow up to 12,413 CFM. This version is compatible with an optional LED light kit (sold separately) featuring CCT Select technology. With Wi-Fi fanSync, voice assistant control, and a handheld remote, this fan puts comfort and convenience at your fingertips.

Best for

• Covered patios and porches, where damp-rated construction stands up to humidity
• Large living rooms and great rooms needing high-volume airflow
• Sunrooms and enclosed porches with standard or slightly sloped ceilings
• Bedrooms and home offices seeking quiet, energy-efficient cooling
• Smart homes where voice control and app scheduling are a priority

Not ideal for

• Spaces with ceilings under 8 feet, as the downrod adds height
• Areas where the fan would be directly exposed to rain or water—damp-rated, not wet-rated
• Small rooms under 12x12 feet, where a 96-inch sweep may feel overpowering

How bright is it?

This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional light kit you add. The compatible LED kit offers up to 2000 lumens, comparable to a 150W incandescent bulb.

Light color and feel

If you add the optional light kit, you can choose from five color temperatures—2700K warm white to 5000K daylight—to create the perfect ambiance. With a CRI of 90, colors appear vibrant and true.

Sizing and fit

With a 96-inch blade sweep and a downrod mount (6-inch and 12-inch included), this fan suits ceilings of 8 feet or higher. The overall dimensions are 96 inches wide by 96 inches deep by 19.69 inches high, and it weighs 20.95 pounds. Ideal for rooms at least 18x18 feet.
