Description
A 64-inch flush-mount smart ceiling fan without a light kit, designed for low ceilings and covered outdoor spaces, finished in black with natural buttonwood blades.
The Spitfire DC Custom flush-mount version offers powerful, quiet airflow up to 8,754 CFM from its 6-speed DC motor, all in a sleek black finish with natural buttonwood blades. This model is compatible with an optional integrated LED light kit (sold separately) that features CCT Select technology, so you can add customizable lighting later if desired. With Wi-Fi enabled fanSync technology and a handheld remote, you can control fan speed, reversing, and other features with ease.
Best for
- Rooms with low ceilings (under 8 ft), where a flush mount avoids the need for a downrod
- Covered patios and porches, with damp-rated construction for humidity resistance
- Living rooms and bedrooms, providing high-volume airflow without a light
- Sunrooms and enclosed porches, adding comfort and style
- Laundry rooms and bathrooms, where moisture resistance is beneficial
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas directly exposed to rain or water, as this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms that require a light fixture, since this model does not include one (light kit sold separately)
- Rooms with ceilings higher than 9 ft, where a downrod model would provide better airflow distribution
Style and finish
The Spitfire DC Custom features a matte black motor housing and natural buttonwood blades, creating a modern, organic look that complements contemporary and transitional interiors. The three-blade design with a 14-degree pitch is both stylish and efficient.
Materials and care
The motor is finished in durable black paint, and the blades are made from natural buttonwood, a hardwood known for its strength and beauty. Clean the blades with a soft, dry cloth to remove dust. Care instructions for the motor finish are not specified by the manufacturer; wipe with a damp cloth and dry immediately.
