Description
A 64-inch indoor/outdoor smart ceiling fan from Fanimation's Spitfire collection, finished in dark bronze with natural Buttonwood blades and compatible with an optional LED light kit.
The Spitfire DC Custom pairs a streamlined dark bronze motor housing with three natural Buttonwood blades for a warm, organic look that suits coastal and contemporary spaces. Its 6-speed DC motor delivers powerful yet quiet airflow up to 8,754 CFM. This version is light-kit ready, so you can add Fanimation's integrated LED light kit (sold separately) with CCT Select technology for customizable color temperatures. Control via the included remote or Wi-Fi fanSync app.
Best for
- Covered patios, porches, and sunrooms where damp-rated fixtures are needed
- Large living rooms, great rooms, and bedrooms (over 15x15 ft) needing high airflow
- Spaces with ceilings up to 20° slope, using the included 6-inch or 12-inch downrods
- Smart-home setups: Control via fanSync app, voice assistants, or the included remote
- Rooms where you plan to add a light kit later
Not ideal for
- Directly exposed outdoor areas without a roof - damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms that need a light fixture included - this model is light-kit ready, but the light kit is sold separately
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you need the fan close to the ceiling - consider the flush-mount version
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit. If you add the optional 18-watt LED light kit, it produces 1600 lumens - about as bright as a 100W incandescent bulb. The light is dimmable via the remote or app.
Light color and feel
When the optional light kit is added, you can choose from five color temperatures: 2700K (warm white), 3000K (soft white), 3500K (neutral), 4000K (cool white), and 5000K (daylight). With a CRI of 90, colors appear vivid and accurate.
