Description
A 54-inch downrod smart ceiling fan with a Matte White motor and Washed White blades, ideal for covered outdoor and indoor spaces that need powerful airflow.
The Spitfire DC Custom combines a sleek Matte White finish with light, airy Washed White blades, creating a fresh, coastal-inspired look. Its 6-speed DC motor moves up to 7,307 CFM quietly, and the included remote and Wi-Fi fanSync technology put full control at your fingertips. This version is compatible with an optional LED light kit (sold separately) for customizable lighting.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, where the damp-rated construction resists humidity
- Living rooms and great rooms with standard to high ceilings, using the included 6-inch or 12-inch downrod
- Bedrooms and home offices that benefit from quiet, energy-efficient airflow
- Coastal or farmhouse-style interiors, where the Washed White blades complement light palettes
- Smart-home setups, with app and voice control via fanSync
Not ideal for
- Outdoor areas exposed directly to rain—this fan is damp-rated, not wet-rated
- Rooms with very low ceilings (under 8 feet) unless you use the shortest downrod and accept a lower hanging height
- Those who want a light kit included—this model requires a separate purchase
How bright is it?
This fan does not include a light kit, so brightness depends on the optional light kit you add. The compatible 18-watt LED kit produces 1,600 lumens, similar to a 100W incandescent bulb.
Light color and feel
If you add the optional light kit, you'll enjoy CCT Select technology with five color temperatures from 2700K to 5000K, allowing you to shift from warm to cool light. The 90 CRI ensures accurate color rendering.
Sizing and fit
With a 54-inch blade sweep, this fan suits rooms from 12x12 to 18x18 feet. The included downrods (6 and 12 inches) allow a hanging height of 13.69 to 19.69 inches from the ceiling, accommodating standard 8-9 foot ceilings. Optional downrods up to 72 inches are available for higher ceilings.
