Description
A 26-inch five-light chandelier in matte black steel with soft gold accents, made for dining rooms and kitchen islands that host conversation.
The Legare collection leans on curved lines and a classic matte black finish, then warms things up with subtle soft gold detailing that catches the light. It reads modern but not cold - equally at home over a long dining table or a kitchen island.
Best for
- Dining rooms with a table roughly 48-60 in long, centered overhead
- Kitchen islands where you want a statement pendant-style chandelier
- Open-concept living and dining spaces with matte black or mixed-metal decor
- Entryways with a two-story or vaulted ceiling where a hanging fixture anchors the space
Not ideal for
- Outdoor or covered patio use - this fixture is rated for dry locations only
- Low ceilings under 8 ft if you need the full 4 ft chain drop
- Small powder rooms or tight nooks where a 26 in diameter would overwhelm
How bright is it?
Five 15W candelabra-base bulbs (not included) provide a soft, layered glow rather than a single bright wash - ideal for dining and ambient lighting. Total brightness depends on the bulbs you choose.
Light color and feel
Light color depends on your bulbs. Warm white (2700K-3000K) candelabra bulbs suit the matte black and gold palette and create a flattering, intimate dining mood. Dimmable when paired with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch.
Sizing and fit
Measures 26 in wide x 26 in deep x 22.5 in high, with a 4 ft chain and an 8 ft cord. The 5 in canopy fits standard junction boxes. Best in rooms with ceilings 9 ft or higher, or over a table where the bottom of the fixture sits about 30-36 in above the surface.
