A 4-inch LED downlight retrofit for upgrading MR16 recessed fixtures in kitchens, bathrooms, and covered outdoor areas, with selectable color temperature from warm to daylight.

The Nuvo Satco S11838 is a low-voltage 12V retrofit downlight designed to replace older MR16 bulbs in existing recessed housings. Its non-conductive dead-front trim and deep stepped baffle reduce glare, while the on-unit CCT switch lets you choose from 2700K to 5000K to match your space. The matte white finish blends seamlessly into most ceilings.

How bright is it?

600 lumens - comparable to a 40W incandescent bulb, suitable for task lighting over a sink or vanity, or as ambient light in a small to medium room. Not intended as a primary light source for large open areas.

Light color and feel

Selectable from 2700K (warm white, similar to traditional incandescent) to 5000K (daylight, crisp and cool). The 2700K setting flatters warm wood and skin tones; 5000K is ideal for task-oriented spaces like laundry rooms. Dimmable from 10% to 100% for flexible ambiance.
