How bright is it?

Brightness depends on the bulbs you choose. The fixture accepts 8 incandescent bulbs (not included), each up to 60W. With 60W bulbs, total output is approximately 4800 lumens - comparable to a bright overhead light, suitable for ambient lighting over a large island or table. For a softer glow, use lower wattage or dimmable bulbs with a compatible dimmer.

Light color and feel

Light color is determined by your bulb choice. For a warm, inviting atmosphere, use 2700K-3000K LED bulbs. The open design allows light to spread evenly, reducing shadows. The fixture is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch, giving you control over the mood.

Sizing and fit

The fixture measures 40 inches long, 6 inches wide, and 5.5 inches high. It is designed for ceiling mounting with a downrod (included). For an 8-ft ceiling, the bottom of the fixture will hang approximately 18-24 inches below the ceiling, adjustable with the downrod. For higher ceilings, additional downrods may be needed (not included).

Is the bulb included? No, bulbs are not included. The fixture accepts 8 standard medium-base bulbs up to 60W each.

Is it dimmable, and what dimmer should I use? The fixture is dimmable when used with dimmable bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Use a standard incandescent or LED dimmer rated for the total wattage.

Can I install this in a bathroom or outdoors? No, this fixture is rated for dry locations only (CETLus Dry). It should not be installed in bathrooms, covered patios, or outdoors.

How do I clean the driftwood finish? Wipe gently with a soft, dry cloth. Avoid harsh chemicals or abrasive cleaners that may damage the finish.
