Description
A 30-inch tall, 1-light outdoor wall sconce from Kichler's Wakefield collection, finished in textured black with clear vertical rain glass, designed for wet locations like covered patios and entryways.
The Wakefield outdoor wall sconce combines traditional styling with modern LED efficiency. Its textured black aluminum frame and clear vertical rain glass create a classic silhouette that complements both traditional and transitional homes. The integrated LED delivers 900 lumens of warm 3000K light, and the fixture is ETL-rated for wet locations, making it suitable for exposed outdoor areas.
Best for
- Covered patios and porches, mounted beside doors or along walls for ambient and accent lighting
- Entryways and front doors, providing a warm welcome with 900 lumens of light
- Garage or side entries where wet-rated durability is needed
- Traditional or transitional home exteriors that pair well with black and clear glass fixtures
Not ideal for
- Indoor-only applications where a smaller or more decorative sconce would suffice
- Spaces requiring a cooler color temperature (this fixture is fixed at 3000K warm white)
How bright is it?
900 lumens - comparable to a 60W incandescent bulb, providing ample light for outdoor entryways and patios. It is bright enough to illuminate a doorway or seating area but not overpowering for ambient use.
Light color and feel
3000K warm white with a 90 CRI - a soft, golden tone that flatters skin tones and warm exterior finishes. The high CRI ensures colors appear natural and vibrant. Fully dimmable with most standard incandescent, LED, and electronic low voltage dimmers.
Sizing and fit
The fixture measures 10.5 inches wide by 29.5 inches tall, with a 15.25-inch extension from the wall. The backplate is 16 x 8 inches, and the center of the wall opening is 14 inches high. It weighs 20 lbs and requires a standard junction box.
